September PageMaps Are Up Early!!!

Ok so its been pretty much a week since my last post. All I can say is it's been a heck of a busy week, and I can't wait until tomorrow is over so I can relax and get back to scrapping!! I've been neglecting it do to the lack of time or energy right now. But I will be playing catch-up this weekend!! So any of you who have not discoverd the wonderful PageMaps website by Becky Fleck, need to get on over to my links on the right and click on it. Becky is a very talented lady who creates some pretty awesome sketches (pagemaps) for layouts and cards. Each month she creates a newsletter and has some awesome artists create layouts/cards from one of her sketches. Well this month yours truly was very lucky to create a layout for the newsletter along with 2 cards for the quartly cardmaps installment. I had alot of fun working with the sketches and Becky is awesome!! I've posted the layouts and cards below, but get on over to PageMaps and check out the September Newsletter, it ROCKS!!

Its Friday, another week gone by ... and I'm being Published!!

Wow this week has really flown by!!! It has been a crazy busy week with work for me, and I'm trying to get over this nasty cold I caught last weekend. I haven't had much scrapping time (surprise, surprise) but I did go to a FANTASTIC class at my dear friend Corinne's house last night. Corinne is the bestest Stampin Up Demo EVER!!! I've included the picture of the Awesome recipe book we made. It was so much fun and easy too!! You can see her blog under "Blogs I visit" to the right. Some other super dooper exiting news, when I got home from the class last night I received an email from Scrapbook Trends Magazine requesting one of my cards for their upcoming Wedding Idea Book. I was so shocked and exited at the same time, I had to read the email a few times to make sure my cold medicine wasn't making me delusional. I can hardly wait, this will be my first time ever being published!!! I think thats it for my today, enjoy your weekend!!

Rainy Sunday and Nice Matters

Hey everyone, its another rainy, gloomy, cool day here. This weather starts to scare me, when we go from super hot, to almost winter cold (well maybe not that cold, but you know what I mean LOL). Its been a very busy week for me, working some long days, so the scrap time has been minimal. But keep your eyes peeled for September 1st ... there will be something very exciting on my blog!!! ( the countdown is on!!!) I went to a Stag n Doe last night, not too many people, but was a good time, the bride and groom are truly nice people! So my dear friend Carla has nominated me for an award again. The Nice Matters Award. I felt so honoured when I noticed this on her blog today!! I have to now nominate 5 people (now that I'm thinking, I still have to nominate 5 people for ther rocking girl blogger award!! LOL). Tuesday ... I've been MIA

Hey everyone! Hard to believe its alreay Tuesday and I've been MIA for a few days. I had a busy weekend, went to Burlington to visit some family for the weekend, then had errands to do and soccer on Sunday, and of course watching Tiger Woods win the PGA Championship this weekend!!! Oh I love that man!!! Scrapshotz had an awesome Online Card Crop this weekend. The DT gals, my dear friend Carla, Jen and Aimee did an excellent job coming up with some challenges, check it out, the gallery is rocking right now!! I havn't had a chance to complete the challenges yet, but will be posting the cards when I get them done. Thats about it for my weekend, I hope you all had a great one and enjoyed the weather!! Where Has The Week Gone??

I can't believe its almost Friday!!! Mind you I'm darn excited for the weekend to be here!!! It had been a crazy work week for me, too many 12 hour shifts and early starts. I never seem to know what day it is! Well I can finally announce I didn't get that job I was all exited about. The interview and that went good, and I had a really go shot at it, but was not chosen, end of story! LOL maybe next time, I'll keep looking! I havn't had much time to scrap this week, and I need to scrap, going through withdrawl! What are you up to this weekend??? Scrapshotz is having an Awesome mini card crop this weekend!! Rib Fest & Balloon Fest

So this weekend is the Civic Holiday weekend, Rib Fest & Balloon Fest in London. It's my favorite Summer weekend event in the city, I go every year!! I love the balloon, just as much as I did when I was a kid! The ribs are EXCELLENT and you can never go wrong. I spend the night down at the park with some girlfriends and enjoyed a free Finger Eleven concert in the park which was also great! Long Weekend!!!!

Yahoo!!!! I'm so excited it the long weekend!!! This is my most favorite one too!! It's ribfest and balloon fest here!! I'll be heading down to the part this afternoon with some girlfriends for some fun, and to of course eat some ribs!! We will finish off the evening with an outdoor concert, Finger Eleven is playing! Should be lots of fun!! The weather is perfect so will be an awesome opportunity to take some pics with my new camera!! I'll post some pictures later on tonight, or tomorrow!! Happy Saturday!!

Still Waiting ... Thursday

Hey everyone ... so this is the second try at posting tonight. Somehow when I had finished my post for today and got my pictures where I wanted them, and previewed them, I hit the back button and voila it was all gone!! A royal pain in my butt, because now I have to do it all over again. I am 'Still Waiting' to hear about that job. I know that they have talked to one of my references, so that is good ... my fingers are crossed that hopefully I get some good news tomorrow to start off the weekend! Today was a bit of a rainy and stormy day, so it was a perfect opportunity to get in some much needed scrapping!! I finally dug into my SSZ July kit, and it was awesome because I have literally NOTHING left of it!! Take a look at my pics and let me know what you think! Thanks for stopping by!

Wonderful Wednesday

Hey everyone ... today has been a wonderful day!! It was a perfect hot summer day!! I spent most of the morning out in the sun, played some badminton with a friend (I'm too competitive and hate losing, so naturally I was grump when I didnt play well LOL). Then off I went to phase two of the interview. I got the call yesterday (about an hour after my interview) and went today to do the hands on computer part. I think it went well, I think I did the stuff right, and they seem to like me. So hopefully they like me enough to hire me!! I'll keep you all posted, hopefully I will get some good news the end of this week! I hope you are all keeping cool in this heat!!! Thanks for stopping by!!
