I'm Finally Back in Town ...

Well I got back Monday night but have been too exhausted to update and post LOL. I had an awesome time in Ottawa & Morrisburg. I finally got to see my friend Stacey who I haven't seen in a little over a year. She is still awesome as ever and was an awesome hostess!! It was so great to see her. We toured Morrisburg, Cornwall, Ottawa (got lost lots LOL, thank goodness for maps), tried on bridesmaid dresses, went to Upper Canada Village to see where her wedding is going to be. We had so much fun, she lives right near the water so we saw a big cruise ship going through the dock, and another big ship while at UCV. Its just beautiful there!!! I was very lucky to meet up with some of the lovely Scrapshotz gals ... Wendy, thanks for having me over to scrap with you crazy ladies!! Julie, Mitch and Melanie, it was so nice to finally meet you in person, you are all wonderful!! I can't even begin to say how much fun I had on this little holiday!!! I have tons of pictures, but here are a few of my faves from my little trip!! Thanks for looking!!

I'm Leaving on a Jet Plane ....

Well maybe not quite on a jet plane, but I will be leaving in my car early tomorrow morning to Ottawa, well Morrisburg to visit my dear friend Stacey. I will be in her wedding in May so we are doing all the wedding stuff over the next few days, it will be lots of fun and there will be tons of pictures to post when I get back. I likely won't be on the computer much so I will catch up with everyone when I get back next week, Monday or Tuesday.

I'm Home

Well I'm back from Cedar Point!! I had an absolute blast!! I am picture less though. It was looking like rain on the way there and I thought about it and decided it would be much easier top go on the rides etc, and not risk getting the camera wet. Well it was a good choice because at the end of the day while waiting in line for our last coaster we watched a really dark sky moving in towards the island quite quickly. We got out of line and headed for the gates, but still got caught in the storm!! If I wasn't soaked from head to toe and had a something to dry off with I would have snapped a pic. Either way it was tons of fun and the rain held off until we finished our day!! And as for the promised pics, you'll have to jump to the Cedar Point website and view some of theirs!! Cedar Point, Here I come!!!

That's right, I'm leaving bright and early at 5:30 tomorrow morning for Cedar Point. I haven't even started to pack yet, but it's going to be a blast!! I haven't been in a few years, so will be a nice way to start off my vacation!! I'll be back Sunday night and likely have lots of pictures to upload!! Have a great weekend everyone!!

It's Finally Thursday ...

I am so glad that its Thursday!!! Today is my last scheduled shift for almost a month!!! The countdown is definitely on for my Vacation!!! 2 days until Cedar Point and 7 days until Ottawa. I'm so excited!!! I have had some free time to scrap finally, I was playing with the new Basic Grey Mellow line. I love love this paper!! Perfect for fall projects. Back to School ...

Today was the dreaded back to school day for most people. I myself am not in school so it was a normal day for me, but my younger brother started his first day of grade 12 today. I can't believe how fast he has grown up!! Seems like yesterday he was smaller then me and running around being, well you know, a brat LOL. September is a bit of a quiet month for me work wise, so there will hopefully be some more scrapping time available!! I have two cards almost completed that my friend Carla posted as a challenge on Scrapshotz . I just have to add a few more finishing touches then they will be ready to post!
